This Calathea Lancifolia also commonly called the Rattlesnake comes with dark green leaves that have unique ripples. Like all Calathea plants, the leaves adjust as the sun rotates throughout the day, closing its leaves at night and reopening them in the morning to receive the best Eastern facing sunlight. Calathea Plants, native to tropical South and Central America, Africa, and the West Indies, are grown primarily for their beautiful, brightly colored, upright, oval leaves.

NATIVE LAND: Brazil

WATER: Keep the soil moist but not soggy. This plant is native to Brazil where it thrives in warm and moist areas of the Brazilian Rainforest, blooming in the late spring/ early summer. The Rattlesnake plant prefers slightly sandy soil that allows good water drainage. He/she would greatly appreciate spritzing and a humidifying treatments.

LIGHT: Bright indirect sunlight. Too much sun may cause issues.
