String of bananas is a fast growing plant with vines that can eventually reach 36 inches long, with somewhat transparent leaves that allow sunlight to shine through. The small flowers it produces have a pleasant, cinnamon-like scent. This exotic-looking plant is well suited for containers or hanging baskets. In fact, its cousin, string of pearls, is a commonly grown houseplant with similar care.

Plant may vary slightly from the pictures based off different growth patterns.

Succulents are expedited to make sure they arrive healthy and in a timely manner.

NATIVE LAND: South Africa

WATER: Watering is dynamic and based off of the level of light it will be getting in it’s new home. Every 2-3 weeks is good ballpark. You want to water your String Of Bananas thoroughly & then let dry out completely before watering again.

LIGHT: As much light as you can give it indoors; a medium to high exposure. If it’s in lower light, it won’t grow much if at all. Keep it out of hot, direct sun (especially in the summer months)

ISSUES: bananas (the leaves) turning to mush - overwatered/ overloved

BENEFITS: One of the best air cleaning house plants!

PET/KID FRIENDLY: Toxic to pets and mildly toxic to humans
