The Croton Gold Dust (commonly know as the croton petra) house plant has deep green leaves with yellow spots. The bright colors on the leaves help light up rooms. The Croton Gold dust like all crotons, like high humidity and ample light. They are overall robust plants that have bright colors.

NATIVE LAND: India & Malaysia

WATER: Water about once a week and let it dry out entirely between waterings. This is a humidity loving plant, so misting once a week or putting in a well-lit bathroom would be beneficial.

ISSUES:

  • Losing color variation - not enough sunlight. let your plant see some indirect sunlight

  • Loosing leaves - underwater/ overwatering

  • Limp leaves - inadequate light/ inconsistent moisture

BENEFITS: Spectacular at pulling pollution from the air. A real champion in air purification

PET/KID FRIENDLY: Toxic to humans and pets. However, this plant tastes absolutely terrible so accidental poisonings are rare.
