Philodendron 'Brasil'
The Philodendron Hederaceum is commonly known as the Philodendron Brasil. It's a classic, and practically no-fail houseplant because it's so easy to grow. Happily, this makes it a pretty common indoor plant that works well with all types of furniture.
NATIVE LAND: South America
WATER: once a week, keep soil evenly moist
LIGHT: Medium to bright indirect light, but can grow in low light conditions at a slower rate.
ISSUES:
leaves yellowing/brown/black - overwatering / overloving
leaves curling - underwatering/ plant is too cold (much like when humans cross their arms to warm up, plants sometimes curl their leaves inward as though they’re trying to “fold up” again)
leaves drooping - underwatering
leaves losing variegation - too little sunlight
BENEFITS: Aside from natural air purification, Philodendrons grow at a a very fast pace, so theses plants can be fun to watch grow and change color in such stunning variegation.
